We offer workshops on “Sexual health, HIV/AIDS and other sexually transmitted infections” for young people (classes, youth groups), educators, professionals and interested adults – adapted to the specific needs of the respective target group.

Workshops for young people in Styria

There are four workshop formats to choose from: Workshops lasting 2 teaching units (TU), 3 TU, 4 TU and a whole project day lasting 6 TU.

In order to being able to well inform about sexually transmitted infections (STIs), including HIV/AIDS, basic knowledge of sexuality is necessary. In workshops on 3 and 4 TUs, and on the project day in particular, we are intensifying our efforts to lay the foundations for the subsequent information on STI and HIV/AIDS.

The target group of the workshops are young people in the 8th grade, in the upper grades and in extracurricular youth work. In the workshops we respond to the age and experience of the young people.

Even if young people already participated in one of our workshops in the lower grades, it still makes sense to organize another workshop in the upper grades due to the sexual experiences that presumably have been made in the meantime. Thus it is more likely to implement knowledge in their behaviour.

Focus on HIV/AIDS:

  • What is contagious / what is not contagious?
  • Where can I get tested?
  • Proper condom use
  • Assessment of personal risk
  • How to implement knowledge in personal behaviour?

As part of conferences, training, etc., we offer you a short workshop (about 1 TU) focusing on the latest information on HIV/AIDS and other sexually transmitted infections (STIs).

Costs: € 50, – (for extra journey) – price includes travel costs and materials

If the students’ workshops take place on the same day, the workshop for educators is free of charge. This can be booked via our online form together with the workshops for young people.

Workshops for young people in Burgenland

We offer age-specific workshops for young people on “Sexual Health and Sexually Transmitted Infections focusing on HIV/AIDS”.

In Burgenland, we offer workshops for general secondary schools (AHS) and vocational schools (BMHS), where consultants come directly to the schools.

Two workshop formats are available: workshops lasting 3 teaching units (TU) and 4 TU.
